Subjects

Aimed to provide theoretical resources for reflection, discussion and analysis of the historical conditions in which Brazilian society developed culturally and politically, as well as its contradictions, differences, inequalities, identities and diversity. Moreover, student be we asked to critically analyze the existing relations between the different cultures, their origins, manifestations and survival strategies, resistance and conflicts. Elements will also be gathered to enable the understanding of the relationship between culture and politics, through the study of social movements and political-cultural interventions promoted by peoples, ethnicities, classes and groups.
