Subjects

The group will analyze the role of cultural managers in today’s world through the Latin American and Anglo-Saxon approaches in their social, political, economic and applicative dimensions.  Students and professor will discuss the relation between development and cultural policies with a theoretical baggage that comprises the interrelationships among economy, politics and culture, as well as aspects such as artistic and heritage culture, and possibilities opened by Creative Economy and innovation processes. Furthermore, we will discuss cultural projects management and curatorship concepts and applications, policies and strategies, employing the principles of collective and participative management, project management, and relations between people, resources and applied processes.
